middle school days

So as we read over that essay on 7th grade, all I could think about was my middle school days in San Diego, CA. I actually really enjoyed my middle school years in San Diego. I was in the popular group at my school and in 7th grade, I was friends with all the 8th graders as well. My middle school was set up in 3 parts. One part of the school was just for the 6th graders because they felt like it would help them not get overwhelmed since middle school is a lot different than elementary school. The other 2 parts of the school were connected on the opposite side of where the 6th graders were. The 7th and 8th grade "villages" were connected and everyone was friends with each other. The 7th and 8th graders had lunch together too but it was split by where your homerooms were located at. I had all of my best friends in my lunch period so we stayed really close throughout the year. My brother was also in 8th grade at the same school as me and he was also in the popular group so that worked out too because all of the people he knew, I knew and became friends with through him. So all in all, I really enjoyed my middle school days and would not change them for anything.
