Future Farmers of America

So, I couldn't help but think of my old school in Orlando as we read this article. I went to Timber Creek High School in Orlando for 2 years and it was so ridiculous. It was basically all hicks at my school and they all were a part of this club called Future Farmers of America. They were #1 in the state for the program and we had pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, roosters, cows, bunnies, and horses at my school like all the time. The pigs, bunnies, goats, rooster and chickens were permanent, but the other animals came every month. All they did was farm and hunt, basically every weekend. I put this picture up because this one time my sophomore year, this hick pulled up to school with a dead deer in the back of his huge truck. He was heading to school and hit it with his car so he just put it in the back of his truck so he could stuff it later. It was so disgusting! He was so proud of it and all of his friends were giving him high fives and all I wanted to do was puke. It was the grosses thing I had ever seen and if I remember correctly, I went home because I felt really sick after seeing it. I just can't see how people think hunting is so fun when you are killing innocent animals like deer. At the same time though, I do eat meat. So I guess thats kind of being hypocritical but still. I could never go hunting and kill an animal without feeling awful about myself.
