Food, Inc.

I can't stress enough how much this movie grosses me out. I promised my best friend I would go see this with her last semester because she had to watch it for this class also and we walked out of it feeling sick to our stomachs. We went into it really hungry and we were going to eat after it. Ohhhh how that movie made us think twice about what we wanted to eat. I love how it says on the picture that "You'll never look at dinner the same way" because after seeing that movie that night, I understood why. I didn't eat meat for like 2 weeks after that movie. There are still times when I look at meat and think back to this movie and how those poor animals were treated. I always feel awful when I eat meat but I love it too much to give it up, which I know is horrible. But, whenever and if I ever have kids, I am not allowing them to eat meat till they are in elementary school because I can't imagine what that poor lady and her family went through after her 2 year old son died.

Man o Man..

When we got to class on thursday I definatly did not expect to see a substitute teacher! lol That was my first time with a Sub in a college class. I'm not gonna like, I didn't think this happened in college! lol But on the plus side, I really enjoyed this class. The tresure hunt was fun! I was really mad that I missed one of the questions on the tresure hunt! But I'm glad I could help the others with that last question! And majority of them got 100%... good deed for the week? I THINK SO! So I hope Kate was/isn't sick or anything! I definatley need her back in class to help me with this essay! These essays will be the death of me! After tossing ideas back and forth I have finally decided on what to write!

Game ON!

This Thursdays class was actually really fun doing that hunt thing on the computer. I felt like I was in some kind of race the whole time. I have to admit that I was getting a little frustrated when Jessica was ahead of me in the questions. Hahaha I just hate loosing at games like that. But we still really enjoyed ourselves and the rest of the class seemed to be having a fun time with it as well. The only part that made me really mad was when I couldn't figure out how to log into the ebooks online and everyone else seemed to be cruising at it. But then Jessica figured it out and told me what it was so it was all good from there. I wonder who got the extra credit points for being done with it first though? I sure know I didn't get it since a ton of people left before I finished with it. I'm glad we did that for practice though because it really helped me understand and learn how to use the online sources through the library.
